  • I'll just sit here and be happy.

    iTunes is a big distraction for people, well for me anyway. So far, today has been exactly what I would call a break from all the hustle and bustle of going out and taking the stupid bus home, just to go out again, which basically sums up what I've been doing these few days. Squeeze in some soccer and abit of drums here and there and you get what I call my ideal holiday, though getting some work done would be great as well.

    Further to my earlier message on this matter, I want to remind all
    the award winners,whose names are attached, that they will have to
    submit the following:
     a) a personal testimonial of your achievements and accomplishments
        written in the third person and vetted by your respective DCs;
     b) a short write up of about 250-300 words on what you want to
        achieve in the future that will inspire your juniors to look at
        you as a role model;
     c) a single line that will capture your personality and attitude to
        life;
     d) 6 digital photos of the most vivid and exciting moments
        that have shaped your school life and experience;
     e) your e-mail and current phone number

    do it for me. NOW. I'll just sit here and be happy.

  • And I came out of the shower a changed man.

    I had my first drum lesson today! Technically it wasn't my first, but I took such a long break, so it's sort of a first anyway. There is a lack of maturity in my class. I'm the second oldest, something i was hoping would not happen, the oldest being some girl who is 19. The rest are either around my age or just, um, really really small.

    I had my first gym training today! Technically it's somewhere close to 200, (YES less than Akilan OKAY), but I took a loooong break for this one too. Now my whole body is aching. Playing four hours of soccer didn't help much either, followed by the death of my right ankle when Anthony asked us to use method #2 instead of #1 for our bass drums.

    Basically, my legs are somewhere around dead, but not yet. Close to, but not there.YET.

    Okay, plans for tomorrow seem, stupid. Wu Xiao Tian wants to go out, I want to go out, Jevon wants to go out. Erwin has a job interview and we all want to go to his house to um, play cards. Jevon may not even be able to make it. So we've decided to push the planning back to tomorrow morning, which means I have to wake up early, adding more doubt to this already very doubt-filled night of planning.

    Everybody needs to start blogging again! It's cool reading about your lives. I'd rather some people shut their blogs down though. It's tiring waiting for the page to load just to come face to face with blank page.

    Um.. let's see. Nothing much really happened today, besides the stuff mentioned above. OH yah. We're organizing something called the Gymnastics Service Learning Project in the hols as well. I'm not really looking forward to teaching kids who have an IQ value below 10 the front roll, seeing that I should have trouble with it too. Anyway, Jevon and I are in charge of the drinks, child's welfare, and first aid. And I thought things couldn't get easier. IF MY SENIORS ARE READING THIS, PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME OUT OF THE PROGRAM OR GET ANGRY OR ANYTHING. I MEAN THE LITTLE KIDS NO HARM.

    bye!

  • Good two days.

    I have just realized that I absolutely HATE reading blog posts that includes the reader insulting himself or herself, it's so depressing reading about other peoples' bad times, reading about how much of a loser they really are. No offense to anyone who does it, but really, at least TRY to make your life sound better. Not only will it make you much more optimistic, it will also make reading your frickin' blog much easer. Thank you. On to my day(s).

    Been in and out of the house alot these few weeks, so I took a long break on Friday. Well, I did so but only for the first part of the day, later on at night, Desmond's family came (LATE) to pick me up, to drop us all off at Raffles Hotel, so we could watch my mom and dad perform. Just in case you're totally lost, they dance. I really liked the first dance, but what really got me was the fact that all of my friends were there. You know how it is that you always have different 'groups' of people you hang out with? Like, first theres the 'childhood friend' group, then there's the 'primary school best friend', followed by the 'secondary school click', and so on. Well, last night all the respective 'groups' were there and it was nice just watching them mingle, getting to know each other better, getting acquainted and stuff. We took a picture with Samuel Chong too, the emcee for the night. (Billy Bong from Living With Lydia). The picture's too large to be uploaded over here, or anywhere, for that matter, which is really really starting to piss me off. Oh well, I'll leave it up to your imagination. As I type my parents are out celebrating with their dance partners and dance teachers somewhere out there, hope you guys are having fun.

    The next day was spent playing soccer in a muddy field. Sadly, despite saying that they would come, many people chose not to turn up, which was really saddening, as never once have I ever seen such a thing. What happened to all the enthusiasm? Anyway, there were only four of us, basically. At least Desmond and the rest turned up, they mean alot to me, Desmond, Gerald, Wilkie, Shawn etc. mainly because we've been friends for so many years, not to mention the fact that Desmond is my cousin. Wilkie and Gerald live really close to me now, and I can practically walk there whenever I feel like it. Wilkie's gone to England to study though, but I suppose the gang's coping well with this loss.

    I am so grateful this holiday's turning out so well, for me at least
